SUMMARY:
Perform daily operations of the TMC Central Receiving, Warehouse, and Distribution.Manage replenishment levels with customer input ensuring customer's supply needs are being met. Stocks warehouse and Pyxis Supply stations with supplies, receives requests via telephone or printer for supplies, delivers to patient floors, OR, procedure areas, lab or ED areas, as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Performs supply inventories of user storage areas and replenishes inventory to par levels.
Coordinates/performs the physical receipt of incoming supplies, materials, equipment for all deliveries including purchase orders and non-purchase orders.
Coordinates the return of goods/shipments to vendors by commercial conveyance by preparing bill of lading, FedEx Shipping system or other documents as required. Reviews the purchasing Materials Management Information System (MMIS) to ensure all receiving related errors are corrected in a timely manner.
Maintains inventory systems; rotates stock; removes outdated or other unused supplies for proper disposition.
Moves material within a storage location to and from loading areas using motorized carts or other handling equipment.
Delivers materials, supplies, and equipment to requesting departments in a timely manner. Obtains signature from customer upon delivery. Coordinates the distribution of supplies to off-site locations. Ensuring requests are entered into the system and issued correctly.
Accurately stocks warehouse shelves and maintains an adequate amount of supplies to meet needs of departments.
Organizes and maintains records pertinent to user's stock levels, supply quantities issued, and other data; recommends modifications to par levels.
Cooperates and coordinates with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials using proactive, positive approaches on a consistent basis.
Maintains a clean, debris free warehouse, receiving dock and entrance.
Exhibits excellence in customer service through appropriate attitude and interaction with all patients, visitors and staff.
Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.
Adheres to TMCH organizational and department-specific safety and confidentiality policies and standards.
Performs related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
EXPERIENCE:One (1) year of warehouse stocking experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION: None required.
